Mr. Guldal's 12th grade Industrial Design majors enjoyed a recent creative collaboration with the Brooklyn Tech librarians. Students selected a book they werealready familiar with and redesigned the book jackets--with an intention to improve on the original design. Students wrote an Artist Statement in which they described the medium (or software) they used. They also sought to explain their goal in creating this piece, how they drew from themes or images in the text, and how they set out to distinguish this piece from the original cover.
